Virginia Margaret Arbogast, nee Keyes, passed away on February 27, 2019 at the age of 101 years.
She was born in Naperville, IL on October 30, 1917 to Arthur and Mamie Keyes. She was a lifelong resident of Wheaton and Naperville, and graduated from Wheaton Community High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Arthur and Harold; sons-in-law, Ron and Bob; and husband of thirty-four years, Edwin Arbogast. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Campbell and Judith Hamblen; five grandchildren, Jennie (Tom) Mulcahy, Kathy Timperman, Peggy Schorsch, G. Adam Hamblen and Jesse Hamblen; eleven great-grandchildren, Ryan, Brendan, Collin, Alex, Kristen, Rachel, Thomas, Blake, Sarah, Kaitlyn and Drew; and many extended family members.
She was active in the V.F.W. Post 3873, and served as President of the Women’s Auxiliary at both the local and district levels. She worked for many years at Kroehler Furniture Company in Naperville and was an avid traveler and volunteer in her retirement.
A Memorial Service will be held on April 6, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel at Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL. Burial will immediately follow the service.
