Venustiano V. Benesa, age 87, of Skokie, IL died June 14, 2020 at the Bella Terra Nursing Center, Morton Grove, IL. He was born December 30, 1932 in The Philippines to Leonardo and Dolores Ver Benesa.
He graduated with a Fine Arts degree from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines. He was proud of his paintings; and enjoyed is family, friends, singing and dancing, playing chess and his affiliation with The Filipino Families of Skokie, St. Lambert Parish and Couples For Christ. He was dedicated to his Catholic faith attending Mass and praying the Rosary, later watching EWTN (The Eternal Word Television Network).
Beloved husband of Nora G., nee Roy; loving father of Michael (Myra), Christopher, Bernadette (the late Paul) Ambubuyog, and Christine (Michael) Ross; cherished grandfather of seven; dear brother of Ester, Ellie, Connie, and the late Ernesto, Florentina, Delia, and Dionnie. Funeral Mass, at St. Lambert Catholic Church, Skokie, and Interment, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie, are private. Info: 847.673.6111.
