The middle of three brothers, Vasilios A. Tsironis was born on August 26, 1966, in Nijmegen, Netherlands, to Andreas Tsironis (deceased) and Mathilda Maria Tsironis (Vink).
After the death of his father, he and his siblings moved in with his aunt (or mom, as he put it), uncle, and cousins in the U.S. After receiving a degree in engineering from Devry Institute of Technology, as valedictorian, he found lifelong employment in the Life Sciences industry.
Vasilios was well- versed in the English, Dutch, and Greek languages, and proudly embraced his Dutch and Greek heritage. He made sure to introduce his wife and son to his hometowns of Nijmegen, Netherlands, and Amaliada, Greece. He was a true family man in every sense of the word and had a passion for soccer, especially European soccer teams. As a youngster in Holland, Vasilios played in amateur soccer with NEC and rooted for his favorite team – Ajax.
Devoted husband to Guadalupe (Cruz) Tsironis; loving father to Andreas Tsironis (future father-in-law to Emma Rubenstein) and dada to Donato Cruz; caring son to Mathilda Tsironis (Vink); dear brother to Dimitrios Johanes Tsironis (Noreen Tsironis) and Argirios Tsironis; fond uncle “Billy” to Christina Tsironis, Demetra Tsironis, Vasilios Tsironis and Argirios Tsironis. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He has paid his fee to Charon and is passing the River Styx to The Elysian Fields. His memory will live in our hearts.
