Dear Loftus Family:
We are truely sorry for your loss. Tom was a friend with that rare quality that allowed for friendship to pick up right where it left off despite lengthy absence. I will miss him and his excellent sense of humor.
Maria, if there's anything I can do, please feel free to call on me.
Sincerely,
Rube, Lisa and the boys
