STANLEY ZYGMUN

Stanley Zygmun, age 91, of Skokie, died January 14, 2019 at the Glenview Terrace Nursing Center, Glenview.  Mr. Zygmun was a retired electrical supply salesman.   Decorated Veteran, U.S. Army, Korean War, where he was awarded a Purple Heart, the Occupation Medal, the Korean Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star and the UN Service Medal.  He is Past Commander, Skokie Post No. 320, The American Legion; and Lifetime Member, Skokie Valley Post No. 3854, V.F.W.

Beloved husband of the late Gertrude, nee Para; loving father of Steven (Lynne) and the late Arthur; dear grandfather of Brian and Melissa (Adam) Cox; cherished great-grandfather of Alyssa and Madelyn Cox; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation, Thursday, January 17, 2019, from 4 to 9 p.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.
