Ruth C. Kaisto, age 86, of Skokie, IL, died Saturday, October 9, 2021, at AMITA Health St. Francis Hospital, Evanston. She was born in Keewautin, MN, on April 1, 1935, one of eleven children of Hugo and Allie, nee Heikkila, Kaisto.

She retired from Commonwealth Edison in the 1990’s.

Ruth is survived by her sisters, Karen Kaisto and Nora Bellefy, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother and seven sisters.

She loved to cook and bake, garden, and take care of her cat, Bella.
