Wise, generous and kind, Rudy was the devoted husband of Sallie Sonneborn Carrero; loving father of Naru (Carolyn) Harvey, Ismae Whyte (Kwasi Akyeampong), Therese Arnold, Aleda Carrero, Valerie Carrero, Derick Carrero (Valencia Threats), Octavia Carrero-Falkner (Robert Falkner) and Paul Carrero; cherished grandfather of 28 and great-grandfather of 16; and dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.
