Ronald Schachtel, age 67, of Lincolnwood, died Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, in Chicago. Son of the late David and Gloria, née Klegerman, he was born April 20, 1954, in Chicago.
Ron lived an adventurous life and achieved that through his unique travels. However, those who knew him understood his true joy was music, crossword puzzles and family.
Beloved husband of Sharon, née Rotheimer; loving father of Laura Schachtel; dear brother of Wayne (Marla) Schachtel; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.
