Ronald L. Konior, age 88, of Skokie, died Monday, October 10, 2022, at The Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights. Son of the late Louis and Mildred, née Peterson, Konior Kramer, he was born October 28, 1933, in Evanston. Veteran, U.S. Army. Longtime employee of Rust-Oleum Corp.

Beloved husband of 61 years to the late Ilene, née Ehrhardt; loving father of Karen (Paul) Speidel and Christine Konior; proud grandfather of Katie (Luke) Merwin, Carly (Tom) Bochula, and Dan (Caroline) Speidel; adoring great-grandfather of Andrew and Lucy Merwin and Ivy Bochula; fond brother-in-law of Rosemary (the late Jim) Ehrhardt; cherished cousin.

Visitation, Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.

Lying-in-state, Thursday, October 13, from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service, 10:00 a.m., at Central United Methodist Church, 8237 Kenton Ave., Skokie.

Interment, Montrose Cemetery, Chicago.
