Early in my career as a mechanic at Fields BMW on Green Bay Rd. in Winnetka, I had the privilege of meeting Bob and working on his car. Such a nice guy, very calm and friendly, and he was always there to answer legal questions. Hugh Hogan

I met Bob at the Skokie courthouse a place where we both spent a lot of time representing our clients. Bob was always a gentleman who represented his clients with skill and empathy. He was a pleasure to spend time with, providing grace and wit in a place that needed those skills. My condolences to all his family the impressive size of which I was unaware until I read his thoughtful obituary. Bob, may you rest in peace.

I met Bob (and Ann) when my sons enrolled in PJXXIII school. My younger son Joseph was in class with one of the twins from 1-8 grade. I met Bob when I was dropping off my kindergartener. He was so friendly and easy to talk to. Over the years the kids became best buddies and spent numerous nights at each other’s home. Bob was wise and funny and really had a heart for the kids. He gave good advice and was always there to support them in his understated way. He had a dry wit which he shared generously. He loved his kids and the “grands” . And he loved his Annie. She always brought a twinkle to his eye. It is his kindness and good nature that I will remember and cherish. Rest In Peace Bob.

Ann, Joey, Charlie, and Family,Our hearts are sad tonight on the news of Bob’s passing. Bob was a wonderful man who worked hard to share all of his skills with so many. He loved his family so much and did so much to help other people whenever he could. He was a great lawyer and always was able to see the positive side of everyone. He was patient, kind and humble. He never bragged or told people about all of the lives he touched. When talking to Bob he was always interested in what was on your mind. He was always focused on the person only interrupting to get a better idea of what the person was communicating. He was a spiritual man with a deep faith. You are all in my prayers and thoughts. Job well done Bob. Rest In Peace. Joe
