Sharon, This is voice from the past. Don't know if you remember me, but I dated Dick's brother Bob in the mid 80's. Yesterday, I happened to be reading Letters Bob wrote to me when we dated. It was very difficult, but for some reason it prompted me to google he and his family. The first piece of info that appeared was the news of Dick passing last week. I am so very sorry for your loss, I have such fond memories of visiting you all and your children and grandchildren visiting Bob in Florida. I still have the photos of several visits. I also was so happy to see you and Dick were married for 58 years! How fortunate you are! As I read the obituary, I was deeply saddened to learn that Bob had passed away. It was all so complicated, but he , like all the brothers, was a very special person. It would mean the world to me to connect with you to learn more about Bob and Kirsten and Robin. I want them to know that he still holds a very very special place in my heart, and how sorry I am for the way things turned out with Bob and me. I never married or had children, so it makes me especially sad that my first love is no longer with us. I know this is an incredibly difficult time for you and your family, so I understand if the timing isn't right. But if you do feel inclined to reach out to me, or to give Kirsten and Robin my contact information, I would be grateful. [email protected] and 404-660-4338. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
