I saw the obituary for Richard and wanted to add my condolences and best wishes to the family. I've never run across a coincidence like this before, and thought you might be interested in it. Although we share the same name, I use my middle name, and am a few years older. I don't believe we ever met, unless it was at the Special Olympics in Normal. We have joined our Downs Syndrome granddaughter, Jennifer, who has participated in it during the last few years.

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. Along with my mom Phyllis, Barb Muzik and Murray, Mr. Dicky was one of the reasons I became a special ed teacher. He was a good man whose passion touched so many. Jean Niederman
