Veteran, U.S. Army. Owner of Hacker’s Glenbard Gardens in Lombard since 1976, he had previously owned Hacker Garden Center in Skokie.
Beloved husband of the late Laverne M., née Karnatz; loving father of Ronald and Nancy; dear grandfather of Brian (Carrie), Dan, and Jodie (John) Brennock; cherished great-grandfather of Mason, Sophie, Michael, and Lily; fond brother of the late Clarence (the late Ruth) and Roland (the late Jean).
Visitation, Friday, November 11, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service, 11 a.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.
Interment, St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Skokie.
