Peter would always shout out a hello when I walked through the Buehler Garden. He was dedicated to that garden and helped in many ways. Peter's presence and contributions will be missed by many.

My wife and I are greatly saddened to hear of Peter’s passing. We are very frequent visitors to the Garden and over the years looked forward to spending a few minutes looking at the flowers with him , always letting him how much we appreciated how beautifully he maintained the garden. He was a gentleman. We will miss him Alain and Averie Leval

I remember Peter greeting our visitors at the Orchid Show. He always seemed to be there! And obviously loved being there. We will miss him!

Peter had an enormously positive impact on my life--and the lives of so many. It was my honor and privilege to work with him at the Chicago Botanic Garden. Please accept my sincere condolences. He is missed, but will always be remembered among the colorful flower beds and hummingbirds of the Buehler Garden.

Stephen a Pat I am so sorry for your loss, your dad was a good man I was always impressed with him the way he could handle your dog all dogs as a matter of fact. He will be missed by a lot of people. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time. God Bless to all your family.
