Dearest Celeste and Family, I’m so sorry for Paul’s passing. He was so special, and always willing to converse, bail me out of some technological disaster, or move my gigantic harp at a moment’s notice. I’ll never forget that one Christmas Eve moving the harp with all those stairs!! The stairs went up...the stairs went down... and the stairs turned in the choir loft... Paul never stopped smiling! All my love, (((hugs))) Lyn

Celeste and family, Paul was a member of our family too here at Fluence. He was a mentor to many of us and will be greatly missed. We leaned on Paul to solve the tough problems. He taught the new engineers how to do things. He knew so many things and had no problem crossing over to solve hardware problems. I remember talking to Paul about home repairs and we were talking about the best ways to lift a home safely to repair a foundation....how many software engineers work on foundations? We will miss Paul and his laugh and his wry smile. We will miss his uncanny ability to get to the root cause of a problem and solve it. Most of all...we will miss his friendship and love for for all man. Celeste, may your grief be over soon and joy fill your heart knowing that he is at peace in the Lord's hands.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will forever remember Paul’s (Mr. Kostyniuk’s) many projects around the house. He was such a handy person and always seemed to be working on something! As Kristin’s friend, I always found her family and home to be so warm and welcoming. This is a big loss and I know he will be greatly missed.

Kostyniuk's - I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. When I was younger there was only a handful of houses I would go to, yours was one of them. Everyone was so inviting and of course Paul Sr - would say "come on Rock let's do some pull-ups (as he cranked off 10-20)." Of course we would ask Mary Ann for a couple flip-flops- what a great family!! Paul was so strong and yet very gentle and had a great laugh.I am glad I spent a lot of time with Paul at our last Niles East Reunion- he will be missed.

We are bereft to hear of Paul's passing. Our fond memories, though, of Paul's goodness are limitless. The haunted yards engineered on Halloween by Celeste and Paul when the kids were young were wonders to behold and great fun to be part of. Troop 3 camping trips, pancake breakfasts and any other event were a delight with Paul around (and doing more than his share of the work). Paul could build or fix just about anything - and make you feel like you were doing him a favor to let him fix something for you. He was a special, wonderful person.

My condolences to you and your family. I remember the first time I met Paul was working at a Troop 3 pancake breakfast. I was new to the troop and asked him who his son was. He told me he didn't have a son in the troop, at least not at the time, but liked to help out when he could. That was Paul, soft spoken but always willing to help out. Troop 3 will miss him.
