Kathy, I hope that you and your kids in particular can bear up under this very sore loss. I spoke with several other attendees at this morning's funeral mass at St. Peter's, and it's clear that Pat was held across the board in great esteem and affection - and justly so. I came to greatly admire him at the USO and how he treated each of our visitors with such courtesy, respect, and clear desire to be of any helpful assistance - while always displaying his trademark Irish sense of humor. While it's been said that none of us is irreplaceable, there are certain very special people who are indeed so very hard to replace; Pat is definitely in that blessed category. I'm honored to have had the great experience of working with him and you for so long in Terminal 2, and keenly feel the loss of that friendship and camaraderie. - Tom Rowan

November 21, 2020 Kathy and all, I’m sorry beyond words. You were all dealt a terrible, uncertain hand when your Pat got sick, and you all met every daily challenge with abiding love and with selfless courage...just as he would’ve done for you. You served him well. May this exceptional man know God’s peace now, far beyond the messiness and unfairness that is so often part of our world. His memory is a great blessing.
