Patricia A. Nett, age 84, formerly of Skokie, died December 17, 2020, at her residence in Hardinsburg, Kentucky, after her long, tiring battle with Parkinson’s.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James P. Nett Sr. She is survived by her four children: Jim Nett Jr, Cindy (Bob) Kozuch, Phil Nett, and Darla (Rob) Shor; six grandchildren: Conrad (Kristin) Kozuch, Nicole Shor, Cody Kozuch, Anna Shor, Nick Nett and Patricia Nett; and one great-granddaughter, Adelaide Kozuch.
Pat was loved dearly by family and friends. Anyone who was lucky enough to know her knew they were always welcome in her home and felt a sense of belonging. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, dancing and always insured she had food whether you stopped by for a quick hello or a planned party. Some of her other passions were Boating, Camping, Bears football, Quilting, Bingo, and we cannot forget how much she loved a day at the casino with her daughters.
Her grandkids were her pride and joy. Most of her fondest memories were times she spent with them. They had unique interests and she would inspire activities that had a special meaning to each of them.
She was a strong, beautiful, loving, kind, and generous woman. We will miss her every day.
Graveside Services will be private at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Rd., Skokie.
