Claudette L. Roberts, R.N., nee Patheal, age 79, of Skokie, died Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Northwestern McHenry Hospital, McHenry, IL.  She was born July 10, 1942 in Ft. Bragg, NC to Hugh and Dorothy Patheal.

As a Registered Nurse, her involvement included being the Director of Maternal & Child Health at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, the Perinatal Association of IL, the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics and Neonatal Nurses, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and the Red Cross.

She was active with the St. Paul Lutheran Church Adult Choir and Bell Choir.

Loving mother of Dawn Roberts and Theresa Casem; dear grandmother of T.J., Libby, Christina, Stephanie, and Logan; cherished great-grandmother of Kaden, Whitleigh, Athena and Baxter; fond sister of Hughie Patheal, Jr.

Visitation Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021, 3-8 p.m. at Haben Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie. [Please note:  In compliance with CDC, State, and local COVID guidelines, face masks are mandatory indoors regardless of vaccination status.] Funeral Service Thursday, 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 7870 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.

Interment private.
