Mithlesh Kumari, age 92. After spending most of her adult life in Lucknow, India, Mithlesh moved to the United States ten years ago. She passed away during the early hours of Sunday morning, November 20, 2022, due to natural causes.
Mithlesh was born on September 23, 1930, to Chaudhary Achal Bihari and his wife, Ram Kali, in Khairabad, District Sitapur, UP, India. She grew up in a large, bustling family of four brothers and three sisters.
She married Om Prakash in 1954. Over the course of several years, they raised two children: a daughter, LeelaWathie, and a son, Ravi Deva.
Mithlesh was preceded in death by her husband, Om Prakash. She is survived by her two children, LeelaWathie (the late Anil) Sahay and Ravi (Anjali) Deva; grandchildren, Rita Sahay (Manuel Chavez), Nina Sahay (David Rodriguez), and Gita and Manu Deva; and great-grandson, Charlie. Mithlesh is also survived by a very large and extended loving family of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends all across the world.
