Ramon Serrano Cuasay and Ludy and our family left a message on January 13, 2016:
To the Simon family whom we may not have met, to Manang Virgie (Sison) and Mary Gaa, Manang Mila's sisters and very dear cousins of ours whom whom we have met in better times but not more recently and therefore sadly so, we extend to you our love, our sincere condolences and robust prayers for the abundance of God's mercy and consolation to everyone of you in this time of grief. It will little console you for us to say that every life must end sometime, but we will say it to you anyway, for it is true and also, in human terms, that is the best we could do to bond with you in your loss. Surely, our Serrano blood connection more intimately qualifies us to share with you during this dark period but our spiritual oneness with you in the body of Christ permits as more fully to empathize with you in your present circumstances. May the Lord of life welcome Manang Mila to his bosom and offer to you and us, who are bereaved, the same gracious mercy when we too shall depart from life. We close with our fervent prayers for God's wholeness to be showered upon all of you.
Dr & Mrs Orlando Serrano Cuasay and Famikly left a message on January 13, 2016:
we are deeply grieved by the demise of our cousin manang mila. she was the free-spirited individual who despite her ailments had amiably and galantly graced with her physical presence the only serrano clan reunion held in illinois. her esteemed attendance there is now fondly remembered with nostalgic adulation. what a great mother and grandmother she was to her family; similarly what a great cousin she was to us who belong to the serrano clan. may her soul rest in peace! (deeply sorry we are unable to attend any of the services because of carie's surgery and postop recovery and care.
Ellen Mendez left a message on January 11, 2016:
My family are so blessed to have known you Sister Mila. Together with our kids we had lots of memories which started way back in the early 70's up to the present time. Our friendship blossomed from our religious Fatima group where we prayed together from one household to another for years....recalling all the wonderful experiences we had, driving in bad weather and snow storms conditions, getting lost finding the next house to bring the Virgin Mary, great company. Those are wonderful memories which all of us and my kids and yours will never forget the rest of their lives. Thanks for all these Sister will be missed. Rest in peace with the Almighty.
