I'm a nurse at the Cancer Center and had the pleasure to work w/ Mike these last few months. He was always so strong, upbeat, positive and friendly to everyone. Even in the last couple of months, he wasn't as concerned about himself as he was worried about his family and how they were handling his illness. It was an honor to get to know him. His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

It was my pleasure to know Michael as a youth and call myself one of his friends. Although I have not seen him in many years, my memories of him are numerous. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers

He will always be Mikey to me... the kind of friend you're lucky to have in your lifetime. We were such great childhood playmates. Always doing something fun. No time to sit idle. We would have fun growing vegetable gardens. Make candels or paint rocks (and sell them to the neighbors). Sometimes play Monopoly. Once we were building "smoke bombs" in the basement. One ignited and smoked up the whole basement and almost killed Dad's pet magic dove Harold. Nothing was more fun than playing Kick the Can with all the neighborhood kids. Mikey was the best friend any kid could hope for. I will always have those memories. My deepest condenlences to Donna and the entire extended family Mikey left behind. Aud

Mike was a very giving person. My son came to visit me on leave from the Marines.Mike said he would like to meet my son.We all set out to get what I thought was a burger, since Mike was driving he picked the place. Most everyone that new Mike, Myron&Phills was a favorite. We ate steaks and had cocktails and of course when it came time to pay the bill Mike had already taken care of it.When we stood up to leave Mike shook Jasons hand and said thank you for serving our country. SIR You will be missed. R.I.P Brother.
