Daughter of the late Edmund J. and Lauretta, née Hansen, Burke, she was born December 14, 1952, in Evanston.
Beloved wife of the late James C.; dear mother of Gregory (Debra) Siemsen and the late Laura (the late Shaun) Kraman; loving grandmother of Kaleigh Siemsen and Chelsea Kraman; fond sister of Edmund J. Jr. (Jane), Patrick (Mickey), and the late Lauretta M. Burke.
Gathering, Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Haben Funeral Home, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie, prior to the Mass of Christian Burial.
Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 12 noon, at St. Peter Church of Ss. Peter & Lambert Catholic Parish, 8100 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.
Interment, All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines.

Mary, the day I interviewed you many years ago I new we would be good friends. I actually hired you on your personality first and then your skills.
Whenever we went shopping or get our manicuures/pedicures people always thought we were sisters. I actually loved hearing that because it felt like we were.
I miss you so much already. We were supposed to play Thelma and Louise, but you didn't wait for me!
Thirty years of friendship and never an argument. Now that is a true friend.
