Marlene L. Alomia, née Hoel, age 89, of Morton Grove, formerly of Skokie, died Friday, April 7, 2023, at her residence.

Daughter of the late Olaf and Esther, née Nelson, Hoel, she was born July 14, 1933, in Chicago. Beloved wife of the late Jerry; dear mother of Providence, Anthony, Jerome, and the late Michael (Kathleen); loving grandmother of eight; cherished great-grandmother of five; fond sister of the late Conrad Hoel and Audrey Lipner.

Visitation, Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 4 to 8 p.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.

Funeral Service, Wednesday, April 12, at 9 a.m., at the funeral home.

Entombment, All Saints Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Des Plaines.
