Marie Moran, nee Penny, age 66, of Chicago, died Saturday, April 2, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family.  Beloved daughter of the late Louis and Christine (nee Tighe) Penny; loving mother of TJ (Leonore) and Christine (Chris) Sturm; cherished grandmother of Emma, Hailey, and Logan Sturm and Tre Moran; dear sister of Brian (Machiko) Penny, Margaret (Gerald) Meehan, Joan (Gary) Vogelsberg, and the late Paul Penny; dear aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  Visitation Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 3 to 8p.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory.  Prayers, Wednesday, April 6, 2022 , 9:45a.m., from the funeral home,  for Funeral Mass, 10 a.m.,  at Sts. Peter & Lambert Catholic Parish (St. Peter Church) 8100 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.  Interment, All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines.  Memorial Contributions may be made in Marie’s name to the National Fragile X Foundation (www. fragilex.org).
