Manfred J. Gursch

I met Manfred in Winter 1959 and became good friends. Always listened to his Austrian broadcast on Saturdays at noon. Just two days ago I was informed of his passing on March 26, 20021 and I am very saddened by it. It is also very sad that we no longer have a German newspaper to keep us informed! I guess things are simply changing. My sincere condolences to Eric whom I met only once, I guess.

Manfred will forever be the voice of the Austrian Rund Funk and will be remembered as a devoted leader in the Kärntner Club. Today and always, may loving memories bring you peace, comfort, and strength. -with deep sympathy, Stefanie, Monika, Christina, Rick [& Robert Holler]

Mr. Gursch was an wonderful gentleman with kind and gentle spirit. I will miss his kind words.

Eric, my condolences to you on the loss of your pops. At times, I would go by the living room and my dad would be sitting there reading while listening to your pops on the radio enjoying the music and news. Even though our hijinks in our younger days may have upset him at times, your pops was very proud of you and your accomplishments. RIP Mr. Gursch.

My heart goes out to my friend Eric who's father took heavenly abode in the lap of lord. Parents always love their kids no matter what and their soul forever stays with them. I wish strength and peace to the whole family during this time.

I'm sorry to hear of Mr. Gursch's passing. I have fond memories of both Mr. and Mrs. Gursch. They were very special people. My condolences for your loss.

I always looked forward to his radio program . I listened , sang along and sometimes danced to some of the music for many years. Some music really lifted my spirit as I worked around the house and sometimes while cooking a meal for the family. Rest in peace.

I have known Mr.Gursch for many years. He left an example of a life well- lived.He will be greatly missed.

I remember coming over to see Eric and having great conversations with Manfred. He loved playing slot machines and didn't hesitate to share how much he enjoyed playing. I will miss Manfred.

Manfred was a client of mine for many years and over the course of that time became a good friend. Always a pleasure to talk to or meet for lunch. He will be dearly missed.

Although I didn't know Mr. Gursch personally, I've worked with his son Eric Gursch for a number of years. My condolence to you Eric and your entire family. May your father forever rest in pace. Pace also with you and know that the god I serve is able to carry you through these difficult times. Stay well my friend,

Rest in peace Mr. Gursch I’ve been lucky enough to know your son Eric and call him a good friend. He talked about both you and his mother all the time. Eric new you were so proud of your radio station and made sure we all knew that too. You raised a great son and an even better person in Eric. Eric so sorry for the passing of your father.Never knew he was a military man. He had some great qualities which makes you even more proud to be his son. Will be deeply missed but now with your mom watching down on you GOD BLESS buddy.

Eric, Robin and I are so sorry for your loss. Through the decades of knowing you and your mom and pop, my fondest memory is of your dad asking if I was crazy for knocking on your window at 2:30 in the morning trying to get you out for the ‘evening’. :-). Dear Manfred Thank you so much for over 50 years of friendship! You were a staunch supporter of my music and played my CD in rotation very often! However you were a joy to listen to and brought much happiness to many whom have their roots in the old country .No doubt you are missed already in a short time and remembered for your top personality which enhanced your program each Saturday. Manfred, my dear friend of 2 decades. I will miss our time together and will always cherish our talks. It has been an honor.
