Lore Jean Swanson, née Pillar, age 62, of Northbrook, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, after an eight-month battle with cancer. She was born July 3, 1960, in Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her husband of nine years, Robert, and is survived by her parents, Paul and Judith Pillar; her sister, Sandy Pillar; her brother, David (Melanie) Pillar; and her nephews, Jack and Charlie.

Lore brought warmth and joy to many, including Robert’s children and grandchildren and the many friends she made through Willow Creek Community Church and Trinity International University.

Services were private.
