Leslie S. Pauls Jr.

Leslie S. Pauls, Jr., age 93, of Evanston. Born in West Burlington, Iowa, to Leslie and Eulalia Pauls on September 7, 1928.   A retired banker, he served in the National Guard and in the Reserve of the US Army.

Beloved husband of the late Sally J., nee Walsh; dear father of Andrea (Michael Siegel) Pauls Backman, Leslie S. III and Sara (Don) Masterson;  loving grandfather of Brian (Dominika) and Daniel (fiancé Ryan Flamerich) Backman, Alex and Michael Pauls, Autumn Bajoras, Marianne, Margaret, Molly, and the late Aaron Masterson; dear step-grandfather of Laura (Avi) Perpinyal and Benjamin (Katie) Siegel; cherished great-grandfather of Sammy, Eliana, and Joseph; fond brother of the late Jacqueline Pauls.

Visitation Monday, 4-8 p.m. at Haben Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie, IL.  Family & friends will meet for the Funeral Mass Tuesday, 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 1012 Lake St., Evanston. [Please note:  In compliance with CDC, State, and local COVID guidelines, face masks are mandatory indoors regardless of vaccination status.]

Interment All Saints Cemetery, DesPlaines.
