To Lauretta’s family, Last week i visited my parents’ graves and was shocked to see Lauretta’s headstone, right above theirs. I had no idea we had lost Lauretta so young. She and I were the closest of friends at St. Lambert’s. We were also real competitors - for grades on tests, and when we played Jeopardy and Cribbage at her house after school, more times than i could count! At St. L, she represented the Irish, and I, the Italians - so we had a long, good natured rivalry about that! I can’t believe she is no longer with us, and I wish we had reconnected. My condolences for your loss. Angie Zera Allen
