Klaus J. Walter, age 77, of Skokie, died Monday, October 18, 2021, at his residence. Son of the late Heinrich and Maria, nee Schlegel, Walter, he was born October 17, 1944, in Lichtenfels, Bavaria, Germany.

Klaus was a U.S. Army Veteran.

An auto mechanic by trade, Klaus was a Corvette specialist. He began his career with Mancuso Chevrolet and retired from Old Orchard Chevrolet, both formerly of Skokie.

Beloved husband of Roswitha, nee Müller; dear brother of Anegret, Werner, and the late Marlene.

Rosie, im sorry sorry for your loss . I worked with him for at old orchard. He was an amazing person to be around. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed, and thought of often.
