Kathleen Scheinpflug, nee Marino, age 81, of Skokie, died Friday, December 3, 2021, at AMITA Health St. Francis Hospital, in Evanston. Daughter of the late Nick and Rose, nee Anselmo, Marino, she was born April 16, 1940, in Chicago.

Beloved wife of the late Adolph; dear mother of Valerie, John (Lynda), Michael, and Catherine Scheinpflug; loving grandmother of Jes and Joey Scheinpflug; fond sister of Nick (Mary) and Jim (Jeannie) Marino and the late Maria (the late Dick) Ryan and Peter (Ilene) Marino; dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Monday, December 6, 2021, from 3 to 9 p.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.

Funeral, Tuesday, December 7, at 9:30 a.m., from the funeral home, for Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at Sts. Martha & Isaac Jogues Catholic Parish (St. Martha Church), 8523 Georgiana Ave., Morton Grove.

Interment, All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines.

To the Scheinpflug family, Michael, John, Valerie. Linda and I and Judy were very sad to hear of the passing to Kathy, your Mother, last December. Your Mom, was a great lady and the best as a neighbor when you all lived next to us in Skokie. This last year has been hard for us all I am sure. I will always miss Kathy's smile and laugh when we would talk to her when she worked in her yard. I am sorry this was send so late Just heard of her passing. She will be in our prayers.
