Jyotsna S. Dave, age 75, teacher, role model, inspiration, caring wife of Sharad; loving mother of Sandeep, Sammit, Trisha, and Swapna; adoring grandmother of Saloni, Vikram, and Vijay. Jyotsna fought with incredible strength and valor against ALS and passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side. She will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends. Dear Sharad uncle, Samit and Sapna, our heart felt condolences. Jyotsna aunty was my teacher and I always called him teacher.Just like me, she has been the first ever teacher to 1000s of tiny tots and all the amazing people they have become is because of her. She is my inspiration and inspiration to so people as she taught us the first ABCs of life. I will always be her tiny tot.

Pujya Sharadmama , we are saddened by Jyotsnamami’s demise. We still remember her loving and affectionate nature. Very hardworking and enterprising spirit. We last met her at Samitt’s wedding. May God give you strength to bear her absence. Jai sri Krishna.

We were with Jyotsnaben and family several times in the last week. Both of us were deeply touched by the way she left all of us — totally peaceful and content. Her cheerful face and courageous attitude is a lasting inspiration for all of us.
