June Peterson, nee Anderson, age 95, of Morton Grove, born June 6, 1925 and died November 23, 2020, at home. Beloved wife of the late Roy; dear mother of the late Dana Klein and Jeffrey Peterson; loving grandmother of Stacey Taheny, Lana (Don) Kahn, Mike (Sarah) Taheny and Mandy (Mike) McDonald; dearest great-grandmother of Shawna, Haley, Dylan, Abby, Grace, Mike, Rose, Joe, Sam and Payton; fond sister of the late Dorothy Brauer; fond aunt of Laura and Jon Sykes, Diane and Bob Guth, Gail and Greg Thomas; great-aunt of Emily, Matt, Andrew and Don. She lived her life for her family and friends and was surrounded in love until the very end. ** I'M NOT SURE IF THIS IS A DUPLICATE OF A PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED COMMENTMy deepest condolences to your family. As my mother's best friend, June was an extended family member to us. With June's passing, the friendship group (Roy, Harold, Dorothy and June) is now united in spirit. June was a lovely, lovely person and will be greatly missed. She meant a lot to me. Gail Gabbert

I will miss June.

June was a wonderful neighbor and friend and we will never forget her. We always looked forward to her baked goods at Christmas and her smiling face across the fence. We will keep her and her family in our prayers always.

June and Roy were dear friends of my parents, Anne and Ed Hoglund. The four of them would make it an adventure to drive to "Andersonville" , a Swedish area in Chicago and stock up on Scandinavian supplies for Christmas Eve Smorgasbord. We remember Junie as Mom called her very fondly. Her warmth, kindness, and the love she spread throughout St. Peter's will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace, dear June. Janet and Paul Allaire
