Son of the late John and Liwayway, née Samson, Del Rosario, he was born September 20, 1943, in Manila, Philippines.
Beloved brother of Carolina (the late Jose) Lampitoc, Corazon Del Rosario-Escobar (Gustavo Escobar), Romeo and Carmencita Del Rosario, and the late Reynaldo and Rudolfo (A.J.) Del Rosario; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.
