John W. Zoellner, age 80, of Chicago, formerly of Skokie, died Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at The Wellshire Morton Grove.

Son of the late John and Catharine, née Reichhardt, he was born September 21, 1941, in Evanston.

Proud graduate of DePaul University; longtime employee of Continental Bank; and retired from the Illinois branch of the State of Florida Dept. of Revenue.

Beloved husband of Barbara, née Marshall; loving and devoted father of Jeanne (Marty) Zoellner-Gonzalez; dear brother of the late Bill (Luan) Zoellner; fond uncle of Bill, Anne, Kate and Emily.

So sorry to hear of John's death. We were grade school classmates at St. Andrew's. John was always a sweet, gentle presence. May he rest in peace.
