Beloved husband of the late Rita “Sally,” née Kasper; dear father of John Jr., Jeffrey (Jeanette Ruby), Judy (Dave) Bavlsik, and Nancy (Dean) Palya; loving grandfather of Rebecca (Adam) Schmidt, Amanda and Jessica Lee, John and Brian Bavlsik, and Dean Jr., Dayna, and the late Randy Palya; cherished great-grandfather of Eric, Caleb, Aiden, Autumn, Owen, and Sadie; fond brother of Robert and the late Richard (Laura) Lee.
Visitation, Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 4 to 8 p.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.
Funeral Service, Friday, March 4, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home.
Interment, St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Chicago.
