Born in Austria; emigrated to Chicago in 1956. Proud member of the Steirer Club of Chicago.

Beloved wife of the late Leo; dear mother of Elizabeth “Betty” (Gene) Holdren and Michael (Renee); loving grandmother of Vaughn Payne; fond sister of Maria.

Visitation, Thursday, June 3, 2021, from 3 p.m. until time of Prayer Service, 6 p.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie. [Please note: Face masks and social distancing are required.]

Interment private.

So sorry to hear about her passing she was a very nice women my parents and I loved going to the steier club picnic every summer i will miss her dearly

A very kind and hard working person. I really appreciated all the work she put into each years summer feasts at the “Steiner Club”. Our heart goes out to her children. May she Rest In Peace.

We are so very saddened by the news of Johanna. The entire family is in our thoughts during this sad time.
