Joan B. Weincord, nee Collingwood, of Skokie. Born December 7, 1936 in Chicago, to the late Caroline Peters and Drew Collingwood. Passed away at age 81 pm September 21, 2018. Joan was the loving wife for 60 years of Manny Weincord. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Collingwood, and sister, Carol DeGuiseppe. Joan is survived by her daughters, Maureen Weincord, Jackie (Chuck) Deditz and Linda (Bob) Amundsen; and her grandchildren Cailin and Ryleigh Amundsen, Jake and Carly Deditz and Kyle and Markus Fiordaliso. She also leaves behind her adored dogs, Bruiser and Bandit. She had a passion for theatre, reading, and the Chicago Cubs. Those who wish may donate in Joan’s name to The PKD Foundation, 1001 E. 101st Terrace, Suite 220, Kansas City, MO 64131. A celebration of life will be arranged in the near future.
