Jason A. Liss, age 60, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2019, at the Seasons Hospice Unit of Swedish Covenant Hospital, with his family at his bedside. He was the loving husband of Isabel, nee Endlichhofer; and devoted father of Samuel. He will be deeply missed by his mother and stepfather, Sherry and Morton Baum; siblings Randall (Barbara Risman) Liss, Rebecca Liss, and Geoffrey (Lisa Gallaway) Baum; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Liss, and brother, Kris Baum. He was an entrepreneur who launched three telecommunications service businesses, including Pro Com Management and Pro Com Direct. He loved spending time with friends and family, playing poker, pool, and disc golf. He and Isabel enjoyed hosting friends and family in the garden at their home in Old Irving Park, where Jason was expert on the grill. Arrangements are private.
