James M. Burke, age 76, of Lake Forest, IL, died Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, in Park Ridge, IL.

Son of the late James and Mary, née Burrn, he was born December 5, 1945, in Mount Lebanon, PA.

Veteran, U.S. Army. Active Member, American Legion, McKinlock Post No. 264, Lake Forest.

1983 Graduate of the Executive MBA Program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Beloved husband of Mary R., née Roth; dear father of James M. Burke Jr., Daniel P. (Sandra) Burke, and Sharon B. (Michael) Parsons; loving grandfather of Andre, Lucas, and D.J.

Visitation, Monday, April 11, 2022, from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m., at Ss. Peter & Lambert Catholic Parish (St. Lambert Church), 8148 Karlov Ave., Skokie.

Interment All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines.
