I have been wondering all these years how Inessa was and am so sorry to have stumbled upon this. I was one of her first students along with Lisa Colbert in 1984. Our first class was in her basement. My grandmother made many costumes for ballet Russe over the years and my mother was with her dog when it passed while she was on Tampa. I have very fond memories of the yearly productions and of my first pointe lesson. She was strict and expected the best and it took me years to understand she saw what I could have been. I wish I would have worked harder.

Inesse was a true inspiration to me! As a former student, I learned a true love and passion for the art of ballet and dance. She will forever be someone that I will remember and treasure as a very big influence in my life. Thank you Inesse for all you gave to your students and the world of dance! Sending you my love and hugs until we meet again! Eileen Jost Rice

I'm so sorry for your loss. I've decided to do a google search to find Inessa, and was so surprised and sad to discover she had just passed away. I was a student of hers in Tel-Aviv between the years 1973-1982. She taught me ballet and discipline. She was an amazing mentor and teacher who pushed me to my limits. I will never forget her, and her big part in my childhood and life. I wouldn't be the same person I am without experiencing her teaching. Rest in peace Inessa <3 Sending my deepest condolences to the family, friends, and students. Orna Navon
