Hi Tre, I wish that I could’ve been with you. I know that you were in a better place. My tears are flowing now… They are tears of joy, to honor my steadfast friend and brother in arms. Just know that you will never be forgotten. My blessings to Karen, your children and grandchildren. May you find comfort in knowing how much Tre gave to the world. The Marines taught you well. You are the finest example of what the military is all about. God bless you my brother, Colonel Mike

It was a pleasure to be able to care for Mr. McGhee this past year. In the little time that I've known him, I see why he was loved so much. He had a life story for every situation. Thank you for allowing me to get to know you, thank you for letting me support you, thank you for not getting upset when I pushed you to reach for more goals. You've showed me what determination and dedication can get you. You are strong, You are loved and You will truly be missed. Love you Mr. McGhee.
