Helena J. Woepse, née Moore, age 96, longtime resident of Niles, died Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, in Park Ridge.

Daughter of the late Charles H. and Laura M., née Wrinkel, Moore, she was born June 25, 1926, in Chicago.

Beloved wife of the late Donald; dear mother of Thomas (Barb), Howard, and the late Laura Esquivel and Robert Woepse; loving grandmother of Dawn (Deiky) Colón, Marie (Stephen) Serwa, Natalie (Steve) Gjokaj, Donald and Robert Woepse, and Linda (Patrick) Shirley; cherished great-grandmother of 11; fond sister of the late Genevieve Hook, Fredrick, Howard, and Ira Moore, and Philippine “Dolly” Antinucci.

Visitation, Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service, 11 a.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.

Interment, Glen Oak Cemetery, 4301 Roosevelt Rd., Hillside.
