Helen F. Mauer, née Johnson, age 96, of Morton Grove, died Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Emerald Place, Glenview.

Daughter of the late William and Agnes, née Guske, Johnson, she was born August 31, 1926, in Chicago.

Beloved wife of the late Fred C.; loving mother of Patricia (Ray) Erdman, Nancy (Philip) Lindroth, and the late Laurie (John Gruze).

Visitation, Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 3 to 7 p.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.

Lying-in-state, Thursday, January 26, from 10:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service, 11 a.m., at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 8013 Laramie Ave. (at Oakton St.), Skokie.

Interment private.
