Sarah M. Pritchard left a message on September 4, 2020:
Deep sympathies from of all of us at the Northwestern University Library. Guy is remembered as a great business manager, a respected colleague, and a much-loved supervisor who served the NU libraries for a number of years before moving up and over to the university’s accounts payable department. A naturally charming soul, he approached every colleague and vendor contact as an old friend or a potential old friend. Everyone who worked with him knew his family came first with him, but that didn’t get in the way of his service to the university or prevent him from taking the time to listen to, and share with, his work colleagues. Guy was missed very much when he moved on, but he left the libraries a better place than he found us and laid the foundation for the success of his successors ever since. We cherish and value his memory and send our condolences to the family.
