What a wonderful fellow - I used to shop at Bornhoffen's when I was about 18 years old. I am now 82 so we were in the same age bracket. He always made my day - happy, helpful and I am sorry for the family.

Frank has died. He never told me that he was sick. That was Frank. Always about the other person.I knew Frank from high school days to now. There are many things that I want to say, let me just say for now, Frank Bornhofen was the truest friend that I ever had.

Frank was a wonderful friend for the last 40 years, and employer for 25 of those years. Frank worked alongside of you and treated you like you were family. I will miss our talks. We spoke often and remembered all of the old times at the meat market. Till we meet again my Friend RIP.

Jim Seeberg left a message on September 4, 2022:
Dear Barb & Marie, Peace and Blessings to Frank as he returns to his Creator. It doesn't seem that long ago that many of us were hanging out in Bornhofen's lot doing sledding and throwing a ball around. I last saw Frank at his store on Broadway just to say hello. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend the funeral Mass at St Gertrude as I will be on the way to a granddaughter's wedding in New Jersey. Condolences to you both. Jim
