Kathie Moritz [DeFrancisco] left a message on April 12, 2017:
It is with great sadness I read of Francis's passing, She had been on my mind a great deal, as my sister and I have constantly discussed her recent ancestry investigation. Warm memories have flooded my mind, of many hours spent with Aunt Mamie and Francis over many cups of coffee that Francis often made, when we lived on the 3rd floor of their building. At the time my daughter Tammi was a baby/toddler and the apple of Francis's eye. She forever after referred to her as "baby". Sometime in the past month, I asked Tammi if she remembered anything about actually living in Chicago since she was 2 when we moved in '67. The only thing she remembered was Francis. Her other memories related to, other friends and family seen on frequent visits back to the city. I would have so loved to have been able to tell that to Francis. We are forever endeared to Francis and Aunt Mamie and know she was welcomed through the pearly gates with open arms and a good cup of coffee. May you rest in peace.

I have so many wonderful memories of Frannie!! She'd look at me and squint her eyes and say, teasingly, "I'm gonna get you". Frannie stole a piece of my heart when she left Lambs. God bless Frances and your family.
