Felipe V. Alvarado, of Chicago, died Thursday, November 18, 2021, at AMITA Health St. Francis Hospital, in Evanston. Son of the late Andres and Augustina, nee Vilchis, Alvarado, he was born May 26, 1940, in Mexico City, Mexico.

Beloved husband of Materesa; dear father of Linda (Matthew Kemp) Alvarado; loving grandfather of Cameron and Dylan Kemp; fond brother of Pedro, Andres, Guadalupe, and Lourdes Alvarado.

Visitation, Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie, with Liturgical Wake Service at 4 p.m.
