Please know that the entire Hagen family is in our thoughts and prayers at this time. May Gene rest in peace. I miss the old days in Skokie when Ace was the place for friendly faces and service.

God Bless you Geno and Dorothy. Geno was my first boss, and a good man. He put trust in me as a young kid at the hardware store which meant the world to a teenager, and I hope I didn't let him down. He had a sly sense of humor that made the day go by faster. I also appreciated his dedicated to everything Skokie. They don't make men like him anymore.

Our condolences to you Dorothy and the family. May Geno's memory be a blessing to you and your family. I still remember the days back in 1965 - 1978 working the tool department at Ace with Geno. He was a great educator to me in learning what every tool we carried was used for. He managed that store so well for Uncle Al back in those days. I even remember his dating advice to me. Rest in peace my friend. I'll always remember what you taught me when I work on my ShopSmith in my woodshop. With Love, Fred and Jan Weissman
