Joanne Medak left a message on April 25, 2021:
To the three daughters & families: I knew your mother over 45 years - we started a colleagues in a psychotherapy consultation group. She was full of energy, warmth and insight. She immediately reached out to me and invited me to your home on Kedzie in Evanston. That was the beginning of a friendship and professional relationship that was in full force until the last years of her life. She was also a innovator and inventor. I modeled for her when she launched her "swim stockings" with webbed toes - and I modeled her ponchos. It was always fun to find out what she was working on in addition to the neuro -science therapies. She was fun, creative, warm, loving and a free spirit. I feel that she touched my life in many beautiful ways - and I wish all of you great memories of your amazing mother. I believe she showed us all what is a "life well lived.with heartfelt condolences, Joanne M Medak
