As I read of Ed's passing, memories come flooding back. My early years were spent in Skokie. On our block were the REEDS, PEARLS, DAHLS and the DELAHANTYS. Eileen was my best friend till we moved. It is sad as we lose too many. My folks Dick and Pat passed some years ago and my brother Bob. My thoughts and prayers are with Marjorie, Eileen and April and the rest of the family.

Prayers are lifted for your family. While I did not have the honor to meet you, you raised a fine son and a perfect gentleman, who adored his father. May you have peace in the arms of your heavenly Father.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My big brother was more than a brother to me , he was a role model from the time he returned from World War II. I looked up to him and tried to emulate him as I saw his genuine love of family and his love of life. He was an inspiration to me to try harder when I would have obstacles in my life. I won't say Goodbye, but Merely Farewell, as I will look forward to joining him along with Jack and Marge and the rest of our family. Rest in Peace Big Brother, you deserve it.
